The Laders of the University of Sierra Leone and African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) met in Freetown, Sierra Leone today to discuss ideas pertaining to fostering collaboration between the two universities.

Rev. Dr. Alvin E. Attah, the President of AME University was officially invited by the  Vice-Chancellor (President) of the University of Sierra Leone, Prof. Dr. Foday Sahr, on Monday, February 7, 2022 on a working visit.

The heads of the two institutions held fruitful discussions and agreed to revamp their partnership.  Their discussion was centered around  improvements in Research, Faculty Exchange program, and educational technologies.

 The pair is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in March of 2022.

“This undertaking will open a window for a number of AME University employees to pursue terminal education at the University of Sierra Leone,” Rev. Dr. Attah averred.
