Students are encouraged to conceptualize and to use abstract thought in order to enhance general understanding. Thought given to program development is that Liberal Arts education should benefit society by enhancing each individual’s capacity to make informed and responsible choices. Individuals educated in this manner should develop behaviors that enhance the quality of life of those around them.
